🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Compliance Specialist at USPS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and auditing cloud services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. You will report directly to the IT Compliance Manager and will work closely with the IT team to implement and maintain cloud security measures. Your work will have a significant impact on the security and integrity of USPS's cloud infrastructure, ensuring that customer data remains secure and confidential.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments of cloud services to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.

- Monitor and analyze security logs to detect potential security breaches and anomalies.

- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain cloud security measures, such as access controls, encryption, and identity management.

- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for cloud services.

- Conduct training and awareness programs for IT staff on cloud security and compliance.

- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on emerging compliance requirements.

- Develop and maintain compliance reports and metrics to track USPS's cloud security posture.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in cloud security and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent experience.

- Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and ISO 27001.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) systems.

- Experience with cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
