IT Support Technician

Leading Edge Technology Partners is a growing, full service IT managed services provider.

We are looking to fill a full time position.

This is an entry level position for a Level 1 Technician.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation and driver’s license.
  • Must pass background check.
Preferred Education and Experience :
  • Have obtained or working towards Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in IT /IS
  • Microsoft operating systems and software support
  • User and group administration and Active Directory experience
  • Firewall and Network Security best practices
Responsibilities include :
  • Provide exceptional support to telephone, in-person and online end-users.
  • Create and triage tickets in our RMM solution and ticketing system.
  • Install, configure and support various types of hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, peripherals and printers.
  • Install and configure software packages and provide first line support of those packages.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate IT records.
  • Receive and respond to users requests for software support and hardware support.
  • Maintain inventory levels and update inventory management system.
  • Receive and check in shipments.
