Associate Inventory Accounting Analyst

About the position

This role is responsible for monitoring club-level inventory and reviewing inventory adjustments prepared by our offshore team. As a business partner, this role will collaborate closely with Logistics, Operations, and Transportation teams to help resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure accuracy across systems. It will also provide clear and effective communication to our Shared Services team in Bangalore, India. Additional responsibilities include supporting month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, and assisting with various ad hoc projects. Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve inventory adjustment requests submitted by Logistics through the Jira workflow process.
  • Assist with researching weekly in-transit reports prepared by offshore and process any required adjustments to inventory.
  • Assist offshore team monitoring an email box Operations, Logistics, and Merchants use for Inventory related issues.
  • Support in managing the end‑to‑end process for bottle‑related deductions, including processing empty‑jug deductions, coordinating weekly reconciliations with distribution centers and vendor, and reviewing and approving monthly bottle deposit payments and deductions prepared by the offshore team
  • Help perform month-end account research, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and ad hoc requests.
  • Assist in performing audit control activities by analyzing and researching variances identified between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP inventory reconciliation reports.
  • Investigate discrepancies and partner closely with the Financial Logistics team to ensure accurate resolution and maintain strong inventory integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years relevant experience
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet and manage recurring weekly deadlines.
