[Remote] Product Manage II, Payments & Trust Network

Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world, and they are seeking a Product Manager II for their Payments & Trust Network. This role involves owning the end-to-end Travel Rule experience, driving the growth of the TRUST network, and designing consumer-facing experiences that ensure regulatory compliance feels effortless for users.


Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Travel Rule experience — from the platform APIs and backend infrastructure that power it, to the consumer-facing flows that make compliance feel effortless for users
  • Drive TRUST network growth — sign new VASPs, expand asset and network support, and lead go-to-market efforts to strengthen TRUST's market position globally
  • Design consumer-facing experiences that make sending and receiving crypto across exchanges feel easy, transparent, and trustworthy — even when regulatory data exchange is happening behind the scenes
  • Partner across product groups — work with other product groups who own their respective front-end surfaces, ensuring seamless integration with Travel Rule infrastructure
  • Support global expansion by enabling new Coinbase entities and meeting jurisdiction-specific requirements across markets like the EU, UK, India, and beyond
  • Strengthen TRUST's privacy and security posture to reinforce Coinbase's position as the most trusted platform in crypto
  • Drive program health and stakeholder alignment across a complex, multi-team domain where you are the single-threaded owner

Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Strong consumer product instincts — you care about creating an easy to use, trustworthy customer experience
  • Experience building platform or API products that other teams integrate with
  • Business development or partnership mindset — you understand how to grow adoption and build relationships that expand a platform's reach
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with compliance, regulatory, or risk products in fintech or financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining success metrics for products that span both platform health and user experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear product direction for engineers, designers, and executives
  • Crypto, blockchain, or fintech experience
  • Experience with open source or industry-wide protocols/standards
