Relationship Manager (Sales Position)
<p>We’re hiring a Sales Representative & Relationship Builder to help generate lead flow for our business. In this position, you will report jointly to our owner and our Director of Operations.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:<br /> – 70% of this role: Attend virtual industry events and other events with our target market (small business owners), and network/build relationships with the intent of helping small business owners hire virtual assistants and remote office managers with our help.<br /> – 20% of this role: Be responsible for responding to leads via telephone, email, and text as soon as humanly possible. Leads are most responsive the minute they opt-in, so our expectation is that if you are not at a meeting or event, you are calling leads ASAP.<br /> – 5% of this role: Act as a backup person to answer the office phone. During business hours, we try to answer the phone within three rings! We have two people working the phones during the day, but you’ll also accept calls that ‘slip through the cracks’ and make sure that incoming callers are dealt with in a professional and super friendly manner!<br /> – 5% of this role: Other administrative tasks ad hoc. There may be other things that come up here and there that may fall onto your plate, but the above responsibilities are 90% to 95% of the average work week for this position.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:<br /> – World-Class English communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills required, NEEDS to be at a C2 level.<br /> – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.<br /> – At least five (5) years of sales OR relationship management experience required, in any industry (doesn’t need to be BPO-specific).<br /> – At least three (3) years of experience interfacing with American stakeholders (customers, vendors, board members, whoever) required.<br /> – Willingness to work USA eastern business hours required.<br /> – Willingness to submit to a background check required.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:<br /> – Proven Experience in Client/Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrable experience in managing client expectations, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering long-term positive relationships.<br /> – Experience in Training Development & Delivery: Proven ability to create training materials (curriculum, slides, videos) and deliver training content effectively, potentially including facilitating Q&A or office hours.<br /> – Strong Interpersonal and Empathy Skills: Ability to connect with individuals, understand their concerns, provide support, and manage morale effectively.
