Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Academic Writer (Freelancer) to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Redator Acadêmico, you will be responsible for producing high-quality academic content, including essays, research papers, theses, and reports across various subjects. This role demands strong research skills, excellent command of academic writing standards, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will work independently from your home office while contributing to projects that uphold academic integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit academic papers, articles, and reports tailored to client requirements.

  • Ensure content originality, proper citation, and adherence to academic standards (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).

  • Collaborate with project managers to clarify client briefs and expectations.

  • Revise and proofread documents for grammar, coherence, and formatting accuracy.

  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining consistent quality.

  • Stay updated with current academic trends and citation guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in any academic discipline; advanced degrees preferred.

  • Proven experience in academic writing or related freelancing roles.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and/or Portuguese (depending on target market).

  • Strong research abilities and familiarity with academic databases and resources.

  • Familiarity with plagiarism detection tools and best practices for originality.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Experience:
