Job Summary

Progressive Technology is looking for meticulous and highly motivated individuals to join our remote team as Online Data Entry Specialists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information across our databases. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, verify, and update data in internal databases and online systems.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all data input tasks.

  • Organize and manage files, documents, and information for easy access and retrieval.

  • Identify and correct data entry errors, and report inconsistencies when necessary.

  • Follow data confidentiality and protection guidelines.

  • Collaborate with team members virtually to ensure timely completion of data entry tasks.

  • Perform periodic audits to maintain data integrity and system accuracy.

  • Support administrative tasks and special data-related projects as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent typing speed with a high level of accuracy (40+ WPM preferred).

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet, dedicated workspace.

Experience

  • Previous data entry experience is an asset, but not mandatory – full training will be provided.

  • Experience with cloud-based data systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, or similar tools) is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling available: choose between full-time (40 hrs/week) or part-time (20 hrs/week).

  • Core availability hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

  • Occasional weekend work may be requested depending on project needs.
