Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to build a career in marketing, gain hands-on experience, and learn the ropes of branding and promotional strategies from a seasoned team of professionals. You will work closely with experienced marketers to support the execution of campaigns, help develop content, and explore innovative ways to connect with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of branding and marketing campaigns.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences.

  • Help manage and update the companys social media platforms and website content.

  • Support the design and distribution of promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, and digital ads.

  • Assist with analytics reporting and compiling data on campaign performance.

  • Coordinate with vendors, influencers, and internal departments for collaborative marketing efforts.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings, contributing creative ideas.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new marketing tools and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong interest in marketing, branding, and digital communication.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and customer engagement.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • No formal marketing experience required – this is an apprenticeship role designed to provide hands-on training.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time: 35-40 hours per week.

  • Flexible working hours with remote working options available.

  • Occasional attendance at virtual or in-person events may be required.
