As a key clinical member of our team, you will deliver individual, group, and family therapy using advanced therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based modalities appropriate to patient needs. You will regularly monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring concerns.

The therapist will maintain timely, thorough, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, risk assessments, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards. You will participate in interdisciplinary case consultations, clinical team meetings, and outcome reviews to continually refine care and improve patient outcomes. You will have opportunities to engage with leading mental health professionals, receive regular clinical supervision or peer consultation, and participate in ongoing training and continuing education to deepen your expertise and expand your therapeutic skills.

In this position, you will also contribute to the development of best practices and new programming initiatives that align with our mission of providing individualized, patient-centered care. You may assist with psychoeducational workshops, group programs, and outreach efforts that support community mental health and reduce stigma. You are expected to maintain strict adherence to ethical and legal standards of practice, including HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines, as well as Columbia Mental Health policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is an independently licensed clinician who brings strong clinical judgment, clear and compassionate communication skills, cultural humility, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. You should be comfortable working with diverse populations, collaborating with colleagues across disciplines, and managing a reasonable caseload while maintaining high standards of care. In return, Columbia Mental Health offers a supportive environment focused on continuous learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful opportunities for professional development within the mental health field.
