This role collaborates closely with database developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement high-quality ETL processes. The position plays a key role across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), delivering reliable data solutions ranging from small enhancements to large, complex enterprise initiatives.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>This position offers the flexibility to work remotely; however, candidates must reside in Mexico.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data integration solutions including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business domains, data requirements, and system dependencies.</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain supporting components such as Linux/ Unix shell scripts, stored procedures, functions, and advanced SQL queries.</p></li><li><p>Ensure high performance and scalability of ETL processes through tuning, monitoring, and optimization.</p></li><li><p>Review and validate test results with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.</p></li><li><p>Follow and enforce organizational change management, version control, and release management processes.</p></li><li><p>Analyze business requirements and map them effectively to existing or new data architecture and database structures.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues independently in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to development team members.</p></li><li><p>Participate in on-call support rotations and provide leadership during incident resolution and production support activities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Skills and Competencies</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).</p></li><li><p>7+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter (10.x), Informatica IICS, or a combination of both.</p></li><li><p>7+ years of experience with Linux shell scripting and SQL development.</p></li><li><p>Strong expertise in data integration, ETL architecture, and batch/real-time data processing.</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of dimensional data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and operational data stores (ODS).</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in ETL performance tuning and optimization.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred / Desired Skills</b></p><ul><li><p>Prior experience serving as a technical lead or mentoring development teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience with additional data platforms and ETL tools such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory pipelines, or similar technologies.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with NoSQL databases and modern data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).</p></li><li><p>Experience working in the insurance industry or other regulated industries.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and enterprise data architecture.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high development standards and timelines.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Skills</b></p>Application Development, Code Reviews, Process Improvements, Technical Consulting, Technical Requirements<p> </p><p><b>Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
