DESCRIPTION

All Saints is seeking a School Kitchen Supervisor & Parish Events Cook to oversee the daily operations of both the school and parish kitchen. This role is responsible for planning and preparing nutritious, appealing meals for students, faculty, and staff, while supporting the school’s mission and ensuring compliance with all School Nutrition Program requirements. In addition, this position plays an important role in fostering community by assisting with food preparation for parish events, contributing to a welcoming environment rooted in hospitality and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals in compliance with USDA and Minnesota School Nutrition Program guidelines.
  • Develop menus aligned with health and wellness standards, manage food safety, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and budget-related tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal waste.
  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and well-organized kitchen.
  • Support parish events through menu planning, food preparation, and collaboration with church leadership to promote hospitality and community engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handling License from the State of Minnesota preferred and willing to work toward a manager certification
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and satisfy Archdiocesan Virtus requirements.
  • Able to pass a physical upon hire. (Must show you can safely lift up to 50 pounds)
