HR Coordinator - Remote & Onsite Hybrid Role in Development Sector

Job Summary

Progressive Technology, a leading force in the development sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in both virtual and face-to-face environments, bringing a proactive attitude and strong organizational skills to support a variety of HR functions. You will be a critical link between employees and management, ensuring HR operations run smoothly and support the companys mission to foster sustainable development through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and compliance.

  • Coordinate interviews, schedule candidate assessments, and communicate with applicants.

  • Assist with new hire orientation and ensure all documentation is completed and compliant.

  • Maintain and update employee records, databases, and HRIS platforms accurately.

  • Support the development and execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Organize training and development initiatives, workshops, and employee engagement activities.

  • Handle general employee inquiries and assist in conflict resolution efforts where appropriate.

  • Assist with payroll processing by gathering and verifying timekeeping data.

  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of HR databases, systems, and reporting tools (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, Workday).

  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and ethical conduct.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a hybrid or remote setting.

  • Experience in the development or non-profit sector is an added advantage.

  • Prior experience handling HR operations, documentation, and compliance is preferred.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (timezone flexibility may be required depending on project or team location)

  • Occasional onsite meetings or events at our regional office may be required.
