You will work under appropriate supervision and receive guidance from experienced colleagues across the business.<br /><b>Partnerships</b></p><p> Support colleagues in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals and patient groups.</p><p> Assist in preparing scientific materials and resources that strengthen Pfizer's engagement with the healthcare community.</p><p> Support logistics for meetings, visits, and engagements with healthcare professionals.</p><p> Shadow experienced team members during external interactions to learn how scientific dialogue is conducted responsibly and compliantly.<br /><b>Data Communication and External Insights</b></p><p> Support the delivery of elements of the medical plan, including literature reviews, data summaries, and evidence-gathering activities.</p><p> Assist in ensuring scientific information provided to healthcare professionals and patients is accurate, balanced, and based on approved resources.</p><p> Support cross-functional teams in the development of materials by gathering reference materials and ensuring compliance.</p><p> Help collect and organise customer insights shared by senior colleagues to support ongoing strategy development.</p><p> Support the planning and execution of advisory boards, including logistical coordination and documentation.<br /><b>Cross-functional Collaboration</b></p><p> Provide support across a wide range of internal teams including Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, Medical Information, Health & Value, Corporate Affairs, and Clinical Operations.</p><p> Assist in coordinating medical reviews, preparing documentation, and organising cross-functional meetings.</p><p> Support colleagues working on materials for HTA dossiers, regulatory queries, product information updates, and other internal deliverables.</p><p> Learn and apply the ABPI Code of Practice through supervised participation in review processes and customer engagement activities.<br /><b>General Responsibilities</b>-</p><p> Develop and maintain foundational scientific knowledge of relevant therapy areas and Pfizer medicines.</p><p> Manage multiple tasks and workstreams with appropriate guidance from senior team members.</p><p> Build digital skills and use internal systems to support Medical Affairs operations.</p><p> Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and project updates to deepen understanding of Medical Affairs.</p><p> Build relationships across the organisation to contribute to a collaborative working environment.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p> Recent graduate with a First or Upper Second-Class degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.</p><p> For Medical and Pharmacy graduates, Foundation Training should be completed.</p><p> For science graduates, a postgraduate degree (e.g., MSc) is welcome but not required.</p><p> Genuine interest in Medical Affairs, scientific communication, and improving patient outcomes.</p><p> Eligibility to live and work in the UK.</p><p><b>Skills & Attributes</b></p><p> Curious and eager to learn, with the motivation to build scientific expertise over time.</p><p> Strong organisation and time management skills; able to support multiple workstreams with guidance.</p><p> Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build professional relationships.</p><p> Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.</p><p> Comfortable engaging with scientific information, including literature searches and evidence summaries (training provided).</p><p> Proactive and resourceful, willing to take initiative while seeking support appropriately.</p><p> Ability to work with digital tools and platforms, and an openness to learning new systems.</p><p><b>Other Job details</b></p><p> Office location (Walton Oaks) - minimum 3 days a week required to be onsite</p><p> All applicants must have the relevant authorisation to live and work in the UK.</p><p> Travel ability required</p><p><b>As part of your application, please can you download and complete the Undergraduate Application Form from our website and attach this to your application will not be considered without a completed form.
