The EOS Effectiveness & Support Team Lead is responsible for developing, evaluating, and executing a portfolio of optimization projects that will support major strategic changes within EOS. <br><br>The role will provide thought leadership and facilitate complex and comprehensive cross-functional initiatives consistent with Truist’s objectives. This leader is responsible for the execution of corresponding business process quality control plans and change initiatives. Additionally, the role will interface with executive leadership and senior service delivery process and production leaders, as well as key business partners within technology, risk, lines of business, etc., to help shape process strategies for assigned services and operationalize changes. <br><br>The position may mentor and instruct teammates across the enterprise in the application of Business Process Management and associated tools or applications.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br />Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.  <br />1.    Plans and executes high-impact/complex cross-functional projects to improve processes, including leadership of major initiatives and providing direction to establish functions that are critical to successful operations including in-depth analysis of issues and requirements, governance plans, peer research, process design and documentation, leadership on system solutions, facilitation across internal departments and functions, and communications and change management strategies.<br />2.    Design, develop or modify process strategies in support of the line of business and product goals as well as specific organizational objectives to support client outcomes in alignment with business requirements.<br />3.    Develop and construct process workflows for assigned processed leveraging design mapping to support deployment into production environment.<br />4.    Leverage assessments of process performance outcomes to highlight opportunities for improvement in cycle times, process quality, production throughput, resource utilization and total cost of delivery.<br />5.    Develop and manage implementation plans to support roll out of people, process, tech changes into production for all assisted processes and areas.<br />6.    Leverage measures, metrics, SLAs and process engineering assessment and control approaches and tools to determine if assigned processes are preforming optimally and as designed.<br />7.    Responsible for ensuring improvement initiatives are tied to a measurable goal and that savings are realized. Measure and monitor return on investment of improvement projects to ensure organizational efficiency and profitability.<br />8.    Provide the appropriate reporting to facilitate communication with Regulators, as well as internal and external Audit functions to ensure understanding of the organization’s strategic direction and to provide periodic briefings and status updates.<br />9.    Coaches and mentor’s multiple teams in six sigma and project management tools. Educates and guides in the application of Business Process Management and associated tools or applications.</p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b><br />The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br />1.    Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.<br />2.    Fifteen or more years of financial services experience, focused on service delivery or operational functions for Wholesale, CSBB, or other relevant industry experience in banking, financial services, or other services industry.<br />3.    Minimum of seven to ten years relevant operational continuous improvement experience.<br />4.    Experience defining and delivering large-scale initiatives in financial services or transactional-based processes.<br />5.    Proven ability to use research and data analytics to diagnose problems, recommend action plans to resolve issues and drive business decisions.<br />6.    Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.<br />7.    Ability to communicate, educate, advocate and negotiate for transformation and critical process change initiatives at all levels of the enterprise, with a focus on senor and executive levels.<br />8.    Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques, and approaches.<br />9.    Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.<br />10.    Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques, and approaches.<br />11.    Comfortable managing high-profile concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
