Customer Relationship Marketing Lead

<p>As Customer Relationship Marketing Lead you will be accountable for leading and taking responsibility for the overall strategy formulation and execution of the Customer Relationship Marketing function across JUMO’s African markets. As a technology and data platform with mobile as our delivery channel, the CRM Lead assesses and drives the strategic development of measurement frameworks, channels, systems, and tools that enable success for the function. You will report to the Head of Strategic Delivery.</p> <p><strong>You will</strong></p> <p>Oversee the direct marketing efforts across markets, including strategy formulation, systems and data optimisation, segmentation, execution and reporting.<br /> Lead the team in strategy development for new and existing products and markets using through-the-line channels (SMS, digital, social media, etc.) as relevant.<br /> Implement measurement frameworks to assess, optimise and prove customer value management and portfolio contribution.<br /> Lead the function in increasing customer acquisition and retention numbers through continuous improvements, conversion testing and campaign performance analysis.<br /> Define the data and systems needs of the CRM team and drive the optimisation and automation of data processes and capabilities.<br /> Lead and support the team, optimising ways of working, and building the operations, capability, systems and cross-functional relationships that enable customer value management.</p> <p><strong>You will need</strong></p> <p>Minimum of 10+ years in relevant roles which include significant direct marketing, CRM and/or CVM experience<br /> Experience working in technology or financial services businesses<br /> Proven commercial acumen and strategy development experience<br /> Experience leading a team of specialists in a fast-paced environment<br /> Knowledge and experience of statistical tools and techniques<br /> Understanding of behavioural science and experience incorporating customer research and insights into campaign execution beneficial<br /> Experience in emerging markets</p> <p><strong>Capabilities</strong></p> <p>Ability to process and navigate detailed information within a complex environment, whilst building toward a long-term vision.<br /> Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.<br /> Ability to work cross-functional and recognise interdependencies across projects &amp; teams.<br /> Focused on leveraging a proactive, solution-oriented approach.<br /> Strong attention to detail is required in this nuanced role.<br /> High level of business acumen and ability to present and communicate across all organisational levels.<br /> Ability to interface with technical teams and translate functional requirements into data or technical briefs.<br /> Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.<br /> Excellent project management and organisational skills.<br /> High level of emotional intelligence and social awareness.</p> <p>We ask a lot of each other at JUMO, but we give a lot too.</p> <p><strong>You will love</strong></p> <p>Collaborating with smart, engaging people in an inspiring work environment<br /> Working as one team towards our goal of financial inclusion<br /> Growing and learning continuously, with loads of encouragement and support<br /> Boldly taking risks as we navigate new challenges<br /> Flexible work practices enabling your best delivery<br /> Being autonomous and empowered to lead<br /> A stack of leading-edge technologies</p> <p><strong>Remote First</strong></p> <p>This position is based in South Africa.
