About the position

As a Manager, Customer Account you will be the primary contact for the Nestlé Waters portfolio, overseeing Essentia, Perrier, San Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna across Wegmans, Weis, and Giant Eagle. The Customer Account Manager leads the existing business, identifies new growth opportunities, and adapts quickly to customer needs, marketplace changes, and emerging trends to drive sustained growth. This role is a hybrid office based and required 3 days in office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2 days remote (Mon, Fri). We are open to Arlington, VA or Solon. We are also open to working remote from PA or NY.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily business performance across Wegmans, Weis, and Giant Eagle, ensuring effective execution of priorities.
  • Build key buyer relationships to support initiatives and drive long-term growth.
  • Identify new product expansion opportunities to accelerate category growth.
  • Develop and optimize promotional calendars that align with customer strategies for profitable growth.
  • Create and implement partnership opportunities and programs to enhance in-store presence.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams for consistent in-store execution.
  • Manage regional sales expenses and budgets with financial discipline.
  • Partner with distributor sales managers to maintain optimal inventory levels and enhance marketplace performance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales related experience in the CPG industry if external to Nestle OR 3+ years of sales related experience in the CPG industry if internal to Nestle required
  • Preferred experience calling on grocery retail accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver strong sales results and manage profitable growth
  • High learning agility, with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, absorb new information, and adjust strategies in a dynamic environment
  • Strong category awareness with the ability to quickly build and deepen category expertise
  • Proven ability to develop customer‑specific growth strategies
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional partners across Retail Sales, Enable Hub, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop compelling, fact‑based selling stories
  • Create customer plans in line with commercial and trade rate guidelines
  • Working knowledge of pricing, promotion, assortment, merchandising, spoils, and Unauthorized Deductions (UADs)
  • Ability to interpret customer, marketplace, and shopper trends and translate them into actionable ideas
  • Knowledge of integrated commercial planning and the monthly business planning process
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and broader Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong command of business mathematics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
