This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and insurance companies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities :</p> <p>Medical Coding: Assign appropriate medical codes (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) to describe ambulance services, diagnoses, and procedures accurately.</p> <p>Billing: Prepare and submit claims for ambulance services to insurance companies, Medicaid, Medicare, or other payers in a timely manner.</p> <p>Verification: Verify patient insurance information and eligibility to determine coverage for ambulance services.</p> <p>Documentation Review: Review patient medical records, transport documentation, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy in coding and billing.</p> <p>Compliance: Stay updated on healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and payer policies to ensure compliance and accurate reimbursement.</p> <p>Queries: Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding-related queries, ensuring accurate coding and billing.</p> <p>Data Entry: Accurately enter patient and billing information into the healthcare organization’s billing system.</p> <p>Customer Service: Assist patients and their families with billing inquiries, explain charges, and provide assistance in resolving billing issues. </p> <p> You will be required to both make and receive client-related phone calls</p> <p>Qualifications :</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Knowledge of Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).</p> <p>Experience with Traumasoft billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.</p> <p>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p> <p>Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.</p> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p> <p>Problem-solving and analytical skills.</p> <p>Time management and organizational skills.</p> <p>Experience :</p> <p>Previous experience in Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding and billing is necessary. </p> <p> MUST HAVE PROFIENCENCY IN TRAUMASOFT</p> <p> Bell can offer you a competitive wage based on your knowledge and experience, with opportunities for advancement.
