This specialized role engages NCI-designated centers, integrated delivery systems, Commission on Cancer programs, Veterans Affairs facilities, safety-net hospitals, and volunteers to drive pillar metrics through collaborative relationships while influencing policies and strategies. As a frontline leader, the Associate Director plays a critical role in integrating pillar priorities, mobilizing partners, and aligning local efforts with national goals to drive coordinated, patient-centered cancer care.
